"Adopte 1 Col" : Morzine to Joux Plane

Cyclists, this challenge is for you! Two departures: Samoëns and Morzine to reach the famous Joux Plane pass in a privileged way, the road being reserved for cyclists. A friendly refreshment station awaits you at the top.

Don’t miss climbing this legendary col that’s at 1690 meters altitude and crossed 11 times by the Tour de France and 3 times by the Critérium du Dauphiné!

From Samoëns, a climb of 11.65km at 8.5% on average by the Southern side.

From Morzine, a 10.7km climb at an average of 6.6% on the North side.

Once you’ve reached the Lac de Joux plane, the view over the Giffre valley, and the Mont Blanc range is breathtaking in this unspoiled mountain location. The interest of the day? The road is closed to car traffic and reserved for cyclists! A perfect opportunity to enjoy this emblematic pass and its breathtaking landscape.
