Morzine-Avoriaz Cycling Climb

  • Grimpée cycliste Morzine-Avoriaz© JB Bieuville - Morzine
The famous "Grimpée Cycliste" bike climb from Morzine to Avoriaz is an institution! One of the oldest cycle races around, dating back to 1975, when the Tour de France came to Morzine for the first time.
Test yourself against the record time set by Bernard Hinault, whose 33-minute marker still stands 27 years after he set it! It's a 14.6km route and 860m climb with an average incline of 6%. Leaves at 9am from the town hall square.
People with disabilities who wish to attend the event are requested to contact the Tourist Office 48 hours prior the event in order welcome them in the best conditions possible.
