The Portes du Soleil ski area with its 650 km of slopes and the resort-village of Morzine right at the centre, can take pride in being the biggest cross-border ski area in the world! Whatever you skiing ability, whether you’re an absolute beginner or a pro, you’ll have a wide variety of slopes to really make the most of your skiing holiday in Morzine. The Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area is heaven-on-earth for winter sports with a vast network of 197 ski lifts across 12 resorts. In winter, all these ski lifts and slopes are open to the public, depending on snow conditions. In summer, there are 25 lifts open so that hikers and mountain bikers can get around the area easily.
