The Martin Perrier Memorial Fine-Cup

This final edition will be one of sharing, conviviality and tribute, with the ambition of leaving a memorable souvenir for all participants and spectators.

The organizers are counting on the mobilization of everyone to ensure that this “der des ders” leaves a lasting impression. For their part, they will do their utmost to celebrate this final edition as it should be, in a warm and festive atmosphere. The spirit of the Fine Cup remains unchanged: get together, have fun and participate, whatever your talents as a handyman or designer.

Everyone is invited to play the game and take part in the race. Amateur tinkerers will be able to build a simple gliding object, even if it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing or the most efficient, the main thing being to participate and share a convivial moment. Less experienced handymen are also welcome, and can make their own disguises, using whatever means they have, without judgement. As for seasoned DIY enthusiasts, they are encouraged to continue inspiring the public and participants alike with their creative and colorful floats.

The event is open to all. Entries are priced at 12 euros per person, including a drink and a gift, with the option of registering online or directly on site. Throughout the day, a festive atmosphere will be provided by a DJ, a refreshment bar and a food court set up at the bottom of the Tête aux Bœufs stadium. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 fastest times per team, the top 3 best costumes per team and the top 3 best sliding objects. The round is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.

Many surprises and prizes will punctuate this exceptional day. The organizers are looking forward to seeing a large audience for this final edition, to pay warm tribute to Martin Perrier, aka Tintin, and to celebrate together the unique spirit of the Fine Cup.
