Few hiking ideas :
The Dérêches Park, a huge green haven right in the heart of Morzine. Walk along the Dranse River, that can be explore fully or in stages. A classic!
· The Pléney and Super Morzine Ridges are accessible via the lifts. They offer different pedestrian marked routes with a nice sunny aspect and wonderful views of the valley and surrounding peaks.
· The Montriond Lake, located close to Morzine can be accessed using a free shuttle bus. This wild area with its very Canadian look offers a 3km loop walk around the 3rd biggest natural lake in the Haute-Savoie. Option to continue the walk through the forest to the Ardent waterfall.
· The fox trail, a nature walk starting right in the centre of the village, will take you along the Dranse River on the old route to the Nyon Pastures, letting you discover the fox’s natural habitat by the river, and the valley geology. This trail leads to the Nyon Waterfall or to the Mines D’Or Lake for the most courageous.
