Micros d’Or : France’s Sporting stars in Morzine

The Micros d’Or took place in Morzine from the 18th to 20th January. Created in 1987 be the UJSF (Union of Sports Journalists in France), the Micros d'Or awards the best audio-visual reports of the year. A jury of champions and Olympic medallists pick the winners.
It was also the chance for France’s sporting heros to spend a few days in Morzine. The jury president, the boxer Sarah Ouramoune, had 19 sporting legends with her including «  Le sprinter de l’Everest » Marc Batard, the rugbyman Vincent Clerc, Paralympic medalist Cécile Hernandez, Olympic and notional medal holder Daniel Narcisse aswell as Morzine’s sporting heros Yohann Taberlet & Alexis Sevennec.
These were joined on the slopes by Laurent Jalabert (cyclisme), Paul-Henry Matthieu (tennis), Sidney Govou (footballer), and many journalists.
