Morzine situated at the heart of the area, enables you to rapidly join Les Gets or Avoriaz and to follow its trail into Switzerland. An ideal site to discover two countries and two cultures ! Large spaces with exceptional views, paths which snake between century old larch trees or legendary mogul fields, at the Portes du Soleil you will find a huge diversity of scenery for an ultra-varied ski experience !
The provisional opening date of Pleney & the Morzine ski area for the season 2018/2019 is Saturday 15/12/18 (partial opening).
Full area open from Saturday 22/12/18.
The Morzine ski area will remain open until Sunday 14th April 2019 (conditions allowing).
The Portes du Soleil ski area breaks down the borders between valleys and countries, linking 12 French and Swiss resorts between Mont Blanc and Lake Leman : Morzine, Avoriaz, Châtel, Les Gets, Montriond, La Chapelle-d’Abondance, Abondance et Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, Champéry, Val-d’Illiez-Les Crosets-Champoussin, Torgon et Morgins.
The Portes du Soleil domain therefore offers you an unequalled ski area and scenery that is unique in diversity. It is made up of 660 kilometres of slopes, served by 197 ski lifts and a 400 km2 snow covered playground. If you skied 5 to 6 hours per day, you would need about two weeks to discover the whole ski area, which lies at between 1800 and 2300 metres altitude.
