To spend great summer holidays in the mountains, it is important to be well prepared and if you have chosen Morzine as your future destination, you will first have to choose which means of transportation you plan to use to get there.For example, if you decide to fly to Morzine, the nearest airport is Geneva, located about 1 hour and 30 minutes away. Once you arrive in Geneva, you can then use a transport company that will take you from the airport to your accommodation in Morzine.
If you decide to come by train, there are several options available to you. You can stop at Bellegarde-sur-Valserine TGV station (75 minutes from Morzine), or even closer, at Cluses or Thonon-Les-Bains train station. Both are just a 40-minute drive away from Morzine.
If you wish to drive to Morzine, you can take the A40 motorway and exit in Cluses. You will then have only a 30-minute drive to your final destination. Once in Morzine, car parks are available throughout the resort.
