Morzine aims to preserve our exceptional natural environment so that we can continue to offer a unique living environment to our residents and visitors. Mountain destinations are on the front line when it comes to climate change and the exploitation of natural resources. We must act before it's too late!
Morzine-Avoriaz has therefore started by taking stock of the situation, in order to establish a strategy and action plans for the short, medium and long term. This is a joint action by the various economic and public players in Morzine-Avoriaz.
In order to move forward, steering committees and working groups have been set up:
Our ambition is to preserve the exceptional setting of Morzine-Avoriaz. To this end, we intend to move forward with determination and energy.

In order to move forward, steering committees and working groups have been set up:
- Creation of a Flocon Vert steering committee and various working groups (water, energy, charter for businesses, etc…).
- Creation of a territorial strategy and action plan; creation of an Ecological Transition working group within the town planning commission.
- Neighborhood meetings to consult residents.
- Work with the municipal childrens’ councils on a waste awareness campaign.
