Born in Annemasse in 1978, Charles spent part of his childhood in the Vallée d’Aulps and Morzine. Growing up in such a magnificent setting as the mountains of Haut Chablais gave Charles the chance to explore this territory through skiing, hiking, climbing, and mountain biking, much to the delight of this seasoned athlete! However, it was his encounter with paragliding that completely changed his life!
The sight of these colorful canopies above his head and the international competitions in the skies over Morzine definitively convinced our little bird to join the endless ballet of these vibrant flyers! A revelation and a passion born in Morzine, thanks to local instructors, with his first flights between Super Morzine and the village’s landing fields.
His initial glides, first combined flights from his favorite peaks, and first cross-country flights to connect the stunning landscapes of this beautiful “free flight stadium.” For over 25 years, Charles has been living an extraordinary adventure, discovering the world from above, filled with thrills, competitions, and records!
