For its first concerts of 2025, the Orchestre Symphonique des Alpes presents a program based on French composers: Ravel, Debussy, Fauré.
We're delighted to welcome back young pianist Ilan Zajtmann, who will perform, among other works, a special concerto, Ravel's "Concerto pour la main gauche", a work played with only one hand because it was commissioned by a pianist, Paul Wittgenstein, who had his right arm amputated during the 1st World War.
After a musical voyage with Debussy and Fauré, we’ll end the concerts with Ravel’s famous “BOLÉRO”, a work with a hypnotic rhythm that grabs the listener from the very first seconds and never lets go!
