A collective mobilization in the heart of Morzine

Inhabitants, associations, schools, residents, and socio-professionals: everyone is invited to participate.

In Morzine, this day goes beyond just picking up litter. It embodies a shared commitment to preserving an exceptional living environment, balancing the mountains, tourism, and quality of life.

Local businesses are particularly encouraged to get involved with their teams. It is an ideal opportunity to:

  • enhance environmental commitment
  • Strengthen internal cohesion
  • Actively get involved in the local community

🌱Morzine committed through the Flocon Vert label

This initiative is part of the Flocon Vert certification process, which highlights resorts committed to sustainable tourism. A new charter for engaged stakeholders will soon be introduced, with criteria tailored to on-the-ground realities.

Among these:

  • participation in a collective environmental action, such as this clean-up day.
  • Taking part now means getting ahead and affirming your role as a responsible stakeholder in the local area.

An effective and responsible organization

Owners, merchants, and managers remain responsible for the cleanliness of their private spaces (residences, parking lots, shops, restaurants…), with a clear goal in Morzine: to ensure a clean resort from the village center to its outskirts. Efforts have already borne fruit, notably in the management of eco-cups around establishments through the implementation of regular rounds, a dynamic that is essential to continue and strengthen.

In 2025, 620 kilograms of waste were collected in Morzine and Avoriaz, a clear improvement that reflects the effectiveness of collective actions and awareness, not to mention the initiatives undertaken on the ski area.
