Walking tour: Tour du Char des Quais
Discover the verdant mountain pastures of the Col de l'Encrenaz and enjoy superb views of the Mont-Blanc chain, the Aravis peaks and the majestic Roc d'Enfer.
> Start from the Col de l'Encrenaz car park.
1/ Take the path behind the Ancrenaz Bar, heading towards the col de la Basse.
2/ A few metres further on, at the l’Encrenaz signpost, turn right towards Les Pâquis.
3/ At Les Pâquis, take the path on the left towards the Col de la Basse.
4/ At the Col de la Basse, take the path down to the Col de l’Encrenaz.
From early June to mid-September, from 5pm to 6pm, you can watch cows being milked free of charge at the Caly farm in the hamlet of en l'Aup. 24-hour vending machine for farm produce at the shepherd's cottage.

Description
After a walk along a shady path, you'll gradually reach the Col de la Basse, where Abondance cows graze peacefully. Climbing up through the alpine pasture to the left of the pass, you reach the summit of the Char des Quais, from where the view is even more breathtaking.
