Top worldwide bike brand Santa Cruz Bicycles chose Morzine for its first European HQ in 2018 with an 80m2 showroom on the Rue du Bourg. A unique space in the heart of the village, Santa Cruz picked Morzine because of its world class trails and its status as the must-ride destination in Europe, with mountain bikers from across the world flocking to the village each summer. As of this summer, the Santa Cruz Syndicate (world cup team) will officially base themselves in Morzine, along with their champions such as Greg Minaar (14 world cup victories, two world champion titles and numerous podiums) and his team mates Luca Shaw and Loris Vergier. The brand is a real partner for the village, with the surrounding region being the perfect testing ground to develop new products. The showroom is also used as community space, with yoga sessions held each Thursday morning, and the brand works with the village to promote mountain biking in the area.

New learning zone on Pléney:
A new learning zone situated at the top of the Pléney gondola has been created for mountain bikers of all abilities, with different modules on offer to help riders improve their technical skills. Accessible to children and adults, holidaymakers can learn how to tackle any natural obstacles that they may come across on the local trails including roots, ruts, berms, jumps and uneven ground.
New DH Trail
A red DH trail, leaving from the top of Pléney and descending to the village centre, close to lifts. This trail is using the run created exclusively for the French Championships in 2018, adding 3km of track with 500m of descent.
And as always, Morzine offers easy access to the hundreds of kilometres of marked mountain bike trails across the Portes du Soleil, and a lively après-bike scene to round off your day.
