With 650km of slopes, the Portes du Soleil ski area, at the heart of which lies the village-resort of Morzine, proudly claims to be the largest cross-border ski area in the world! No matter your skiing level, whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you’ll find a wide variety of terrains to enjoy the pleasures of skiing during your stay in Morzine. This winter sports paradise, the French-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area, boasts an extensive network of 197 ski lifts spread across 12 resorts. In winter, all these lifts and ski slopes are open to the public, depending on snow conditions. In summer, more than 25 lifts remain open, allowing both hikers and mountain bikers easy access to the area.
