The summer of 2022 will be full of entertainment and events in Morzine! Between the Pass'Portes, the Tour de France, the Harley Days and many others... fans of two wheels and beautiful motorcycles will be served! For extreme sports enthusiasts, Morzine will once again be hosting the legendary Spartan Race, a race for those who love challenges!

A BOOTCAMP-STYLE OBSTACLE COURSE

Come and take up the challenge on the 2nd and the 3rd of July. Solo or in a team, discover a trail dotted with obstacles, including running, jumping, wall climbing and other bootcamp-style obstacles. Your mission? To do the best time on one of the three suggested courses:
  • Open (for fun)
  • Competitive (more difficult)
  • Elite (reserved for trained athletes)
     
On the programme, three trail-type courses punctuated by obstacles:
  • Sprint: 6+ km/20+ obstacles
  • Super: 13+ km/ 25+ obstacles
  • Beast: 20+ km/ 30+ obstacles
     

SPECIFIC TO MORZINE: THE TRIFECTA WEEK END

For the more experienced, the Morzine-Avoriaz stage hosts the only Trifecta weekend. Morzine is one of the most demanding destinations for endurance races (beast or ultra beast) and requires preparation and adaptability in a mountain environment. The Morzine Beast Race will be part of the 2022 France National Series.

 

THE MINI SPARTANS WILL ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN RACE

A fun and entertaining obstacle course from 800m to 3200m will be set up for mini-spartans, open to children aged 4 to 14 years old. Running, jumping, climbing and crawling, the youngest will gain confidence while having fun. Older children will be able to take on the challenge over a longer distance and even take part in timed races and compete against other children.

All children who finish the race will be rewarded and can proudly show their family and friends what they have won. Young people aged 11-15 years old who participate in the competitive formats win special medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as vouchers in the merchandising shop of the Spartan Race.

To sum up, this is a race for all tastes, levels and above all all all ages! A good excuse to do some sport with friends or family!
