Fancy some fresh air? Need to escape, find time to breathe and explore amid soothing natural surroundings? Then you’ll find what you’re looking for in Morzine. What’s more, the resort of Morzine has been ‘Famille Plus’-certified since 2007. With family-friendly accommodation, services, facilities and activities (swimming, treetop adventure trails, mountain biking, pony rides and more), Morzine is the ultimate resort for families!

To prove it, here’s our Top 5 of the reasons to bring your family to our beautiful resort this summer!

1 – Great deals for the whole family
The Multi-Pass gives you access to an endless number of activities in the Portes du Soleil! This unique pass offers a host of activities at a very attractive price.
The Multi-Pass comes in various versions to suit every holidaymaker: ‘Multi-Pass Séjour’ for those staying in accommodation provided by a Multi-Pass partner, ‘Multi-Pass Journée’ if you’re just exploring for the day, or ‘Multi-Pass Saison’ if you live close enough to the Portes du Soleil to visit regularly throughout the season.
You’ve guessed it, the Multi-Pass gives you unlimited access to a host of activities, and discounts on others, in all the Portes du Soleil resorts. You can buy one at the lift cash desks.

2 – Outdoor activities to keep the whole family happy

  • Summer luge: Sledging isn’t just a winter activity! From 9 July, you can hurtle down the summer luge runs installed at Le Pléney (from the top of the Crusaz chairlift). You can choose between a thrilling, steep descent that gets the adrenalin flowing, and a gentler run for the less daring.
  • Biathlon: this is no longer a sport reserved for Olympic champions. The completely safe laser rifles mean that anyone can get a feel of what it’s like to be a biathlete. With family or friends, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable experience and the thrill of shooting at targets.
  • Horseriding: At Morzine riding stables you can go hacking, take beginner lessons or a whole course, not to mention all the activities organised for children relating to farm animals and ponies.
  • Paddleboarding: Have a go at paddleboarding. A qualified instructor will guide you for your first attempt or help you perfect your technique, against the spectacular mountain backdrop of Montriond Lake.

There are many more activities to enjoy in Morzine. You’ll find the full list here!

3 – Free workshops and activities
Morzine Tourist Office also releases a programme of the activities available throughout the summer, including games, workshops, activities just for children and others to enjoy as a family. Over the years, some activities, especially our thematic weeks, have grown into key events. So, don’t hesitate to take a look at our events calendar!

4 – Famille Plus certification for the resort of Morzine
If you’re looking for a family-friendly destination, look out for the Famille Plus label. This seal of approval is awarded to resorts that cater specifically for families and organise activities with children in mind. Morzine has obtained ‘Famille Plus’ certification in recognition of its daily activities, family deals and childcare amenities.

By choosing a destination that focuses on families, you can be sure of enjoying a stress-free holiday. Children are supervised by properly-trained professionals. This means parents can be confident of leaving their children in the hands of competent activity leaders.
