CHARLES CAZAUX - PARAGLIDING

Presentation

Born in Annemasse in 1978, Charles spent part of his childhood in the Vallée d’Aulps and in Morzine. Growing up in such a grandiose and beautiful environment as the mountains of the Upper Chablais gave Charles the opportunity and the pleasure of exploring this territory on skis, on foot, through climbing and even mountain biking! But the day he discovered paragliding changed his life forever.
With international competitions becoming ever more present in the skies above Morzine, the sight of these multicoloured wings drew our little bird to join this never-ending ballet of colourful winged creatures! Thanks to his instructors, an epiphany and a passion born in Morzine grew with his first flights between Supermorzine and the landing sites of the village; gliding, hovering, combining flights from his favourite peaks and attempting his first cross-country, linking point to point in this stunning open-air stadium. For 25 years now Charles has been living this incredible adventure, discovering the world as seen from above, competing, making and breaking records!
