Morzine-Avoriaz has always been a breeding ground for champions.

They are the sports ambassadors of Morzine and highlight the resort thanks to numerous high-level performances. Born in Morzine or wherever they train there regularly, these champions are the pride of the resort!

They all seem to have followed in the footsteps of the inventor of the so-called "egg" schuss, Jean Vuarnet. In 1960, an unusual event disrupted the life of the village and its inhabitants. Jean-Jean (that's how the Morzines called him), the child of Morzine, has just been crowned Olympic downhill champion in Squaw Valley. We wish the same career to all our champions who currently proudly wear the colors of Morzine!
