The route generally starts in Avoriaz or from the Prodains gondola, with a gradual ascent via the Col de Chavanette, before tackling the final, steeper and more mineral section, sometimes equipped with cables (aerial but safe passages). The return journey can be made by the same route or as a loop via the surrounding cols.
⏱️ Duration: 5h to 7h depending on the route chosen.
📏 Vertical rise: approx. 1000 to 1200 m
📍 Start: Morzine / Avoriaz / Les Prodains
🥾 Level: difficult – for experienced, well-equipped hikers only
🧗♂️ Warning: aerial passages and exposed terrain in the final section.
A sporting and grandiose hike, ideal for lovers of high mountains and spectacular panoramas.
