Triathlon Montriond-Morzine-Avoriaz

A true altitude triathlon, this event offers everyone, from amateurs to seasoned triathletes, an accessible, perfectly organized and safe challenge.
The program promises thrills: swimming in Lac de Montriond, a mythical ascent of Avoriaz by bike, followed by a technical descent to Morzine, before finishing with a run along the Dranse.
COURSES AND FORMATS AVAILABLE
– Distance M (individual or relay): 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike with over 1000 m of ascent, 10 km run.
– Distance S (individual or relay): 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
– Distance XS: 400 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run.
– TriStars Juniors: 100 m swim, 2 km bike, 500 m run.
BEHIND THE SCENES
This triathlon is the fruit of a committed partnership between the Tri Montagne association, the communes of Montriond and Morzine-Avoriaz, valley merchants and a team of volunteers mobilized since 2018. Since its launch in September of that year, the event has seen its success grow, encouraged by an involved and enthusiastic community.
PRACTICAL INFO
– Registration and regulations available on the MMATriathlon website or via the Montriond and Morzine tourist offices.
– Roads partially closed on the bike course to ensure athletes’ safety.
– Reception, refreshment and spectator areas near key points (start, Avoriaz bends, finish).
This unique mountain triathlon remains true to the spirit of the region: a demanding, friendly event firmly rooted in its environment.
