Born in 2004, Sven is a skier from Morzine. Like many locals, he started skiing at the age of 3. Around the age of 10, he developed an interest in freestyle skiing, initially as a leisure activity. Alongside skiing, Sven also plays ice hockey at HCMA, the local club in Morzine.
With his parents having practiced freestyle skiing in their youth, Sven naturally gravitated towards the sport as he grew older. He made his first moves in snowparks with his family, before continuing on his own to refine his technique. Recognizing his potential and technical skills, Sven decided to fully commit to freestyle skiing and joined the freestyle section of the Morzine ski club.
Goals for the Future: In the coming years, Sven aims to achieve as many top 5 finishes and podiums in the European Cup as possible to progress to the next level: the World Cup. His biggest aspiration is to make a name for himself on the global stage, and he is on the right track, as his recent successes have earned him a spot in the upcoming World Cup in Tignes… Stay tuned!
