Sven is a skier from Morzine, born in 2004. Like many locals here, he started skiing at a young age, when he was barely 3 years old. It was around the age of 10 that he started taking an interest in freestyle skiing, but only as a hobby at first. Because at the time, Sven also played ice hockey with the HCMA club in Morzine.
It was only natural that Sven would take an interest in freestyle skiing as he was growing up because his parents were also freestyle skiers when they were younger. He started off at the snowparks with his family, and then carried on working on his technique alone. Well aware of his potential and his talent for technical tricks, Sven decided to throw himself into this sport and joined the freestyle section of Morzine ski club.
What are his goals for the coming years? To get into the Top 5 and onto podiums as much as he can in the European Cup, to then move on to the next level, the World Cup. His ultimate goal is to become a well-known skier at a global level, and he is on the right track, because thanks to his latest performances, he has been selected for the next World Cup in Tignes. To be continued!
