Walking becomes truly rejuvenating when practiced in the fresh air. Morzine offers numerous walks and hikes for all skill levels.

Dérêches park

To start, you can enjoy easy walks on trails with very little elevation gain. Beginning from the center of the village, you can take a stroll in Dérêches Park on a 4.5 km loop along the Dranse River. It’s a little gem of greenery right in the heart of the village. Along the way, you can stop at the playground available for children or visit the equestrian center. Without a doubt, they will be eager to pet the horses or ponies found there.

Chemin du renard

Still along the Dranse, but this time heading towards Nyon, why not take a stroll on the Fox Path? It’s a “nature” walk that starts right in the heart of the village and follows the Dranse along the old route to the alpine pastures of Nyon.

If you wish to venture further from the village, you can head towards the Pléney Ridge or Super Morzine. These walks offer various marked walking routes with plenty of sunshine and stunning views of the valley and surrounding peaks.

For Hikers

For longer hikes, don’t hesitate to download the hiking guide. It details numerous trails to explore starting from Morzine, Avoriaz, or Les Gets. About thirty routes are described and presented with a map.

For Athletes
