With 27 ski lifts accessible to pedestrians and 44 trail-running routes in the Portes du Soleil, Morzine offers a multitude of possibilities for mountain hiking enthusiasts. For all levels of difficulty, you will find 14 green trails, 15 blue trails, 11 red trails, 1 black trail, and 3 Vertical Kilometers (KMV), catering to the desires of all explorers, from beginners to the most experienced.

The Enduro Trail of the Super Morzine ridges (14 km with 280 m of elevation gain)
From the center of the resort, take the Super Morzine gondola and then the Zore chairlift. A beautiful trail along the ridges with views of the Dents du Midi awaits you. The route continues towards Avoriaz before descending gently back to your starting point.

The Enduro Trail from Avoriaz – Morzinette (9 km with 275 m of elevation gain)
Take a shuttle that will take you to the Prodains, where you can board the cable car that leads directly to Avoriaz. The downhill route initially winds through the alpine meadows with a privileged view of the entire valley. It then descends to Morzinette, a little slice of paradise with century-old chalets, before entering a pleasant forest section that ends at the Church Square.

Breathtaking landscapes and a wide variety of terrains
After exploring the single tracks and forest paths among forests, alpine meadows, and summits, if you wish to go even further, you can conquer the Portes du Soleil. You can cover up to 400 km of trails through 54 marked routes between France and Switzerland. To make life easier for trail runners, there is a dedicated mobile app called “Trail Running Portes du Soleil,” featuring runner geolocation on the route, GPS track export, loop profiles, and comments from other runners… It is free and available on the App Store and Google Play.
