Coming to Morzine by Car

To reach the resort easily:
From the Autoroute Blanche (A40)
– Exit Bonneville (no. 17)
– Exit Cluses / Scionzier (no. 18)
Morzine is located about 30 km from these motorway exits.
From Switzerland
– Exit Villeneuve, direction Évian.

Morzine offers several public car parks, both underground and outdoor, providing direct access to the ski lifts (Pleney, Nyon, Prodains) as well as to the village centre. Parking staff are present to guide you and sell season passes:
Town centre: Mon–Fri: 12:00–18:00 / Sat–Sun: 10:00–18:00 Prodains: Fri–Sun: 10:00–18:00

• Joux Plane Car Park – 86 spaces

• Prodains Car Park – 540 spaces, direct access to the cable car to Avoriaz
• Nyon Car Park – 250 spaces (free in winter and summer), immediate access to the Nyon cable car
• Nantégue Car Park – 188 spaces (open in winter, free)
• Les Lans Car Park – 75 spaces
• Bourg Car Park – 61 spaces
• Market Square Car Park – 110 spaces

NEW FOR 2025–2026: BARRIER-FREE PARKING IN MORZINE

The municipality is modernising its car parks with an automatic licence plate recognition system (LAPI).

How it works: 

• Free entry → licence plate recorded automatically

Payment:

• Pay at a parking meter (enter licence plate)

• Or via mobile apps: PayByPhone and PrestoPark

• Free exit → camera detects departure

Grace period: 

• 15 minutes free upon arrival and departure

If you do not pay: ➡️ A Post-Parking Fee (FPS) will be issued.

Advantages: 

• Extend parking time remotely

• Reduce time (and cost) if you leave earlier

• No need to return to the vehicle

⚠️ Parking passes and bookings: only seasonal

👉 45 minutes free once per day per vehicle at the Joux Plane, Tourist Office, and Prodains car parks.

Blue-Zone Parking in Morzine

Since summer 2022, blue-zone parking has been introduced to support local businesses and improve turnover in the village centre.

• Parking is free but limited to one hour.
• A parking disc is mandatory (available for free at the Town Hall and Tourist Office).
• The disc must be clearly displayed behind the windscreen, showing your arrival time.
