Skiing in winter is the main attraction of the resort. The slopes of Morzine are connected to the Portes du Soleil ski area, allowing both experienced and beginner skiers to enjoy beautiful days on the slopes. Whether with friends or family, in Morzine, you’re dazzled all day long..

Winter in Morzine

It starts with an early breakfast on the slopes with the ski patrol, before catching a glimpse of Mont Blanc from the top of Pléney. In the distance, you’ll see the famous Pointe de Nyon, the iconic mountain of Morzine. After a few lovely red runs in the Chamossière area, you head off to explore Avoriaz, and for the more daring, tackle the famous Swiss Wall in the Champéry area. When lunchtime rolls around, why not opt for a Swiss fondue in one of the slope-side restaurants? After a long day where your skis have carried you from peak to peak, with a different view at every turn, the descent back to Morzine, with its village nestled in the mountains, is a true vision of happiness. Just for fun, the kids head back for a few last jumps at the Pingouins snowpark. As the lifts close, it’s time to head home because next up is a thrilling sledging descent!
