The ski season is well and truly underway in the Portes du Soleil! The Morzine–Les Gets area will be almost fully open on Saturday, December 20, 2025, while over in Super Morzine and Avoriaz, skiers have already been enjoying the slopes for a few days. Here is a full update on the conditions, access to the ski area, and best practices to make the most of this start to the season.

Well-snowed slopes at altitude

Skiing on the Morzine–Les Gets side?

Even if you don’t see snow right in the village center, great skiing conditions are guaranteed during your holiday.

At altitude, conditions are very good and will allow you to fully enjoy the slopes.

Above 1,300 meters, snow coverage is solid and almost the entire ski area is open.

Most of the slopes will be open from December 20, 2025.

Early season information:
The return to the resort will be via the ski lifts:

  • Nyon cable car
  • Pléney gondola

Shuttle buses – full service

From December 20, 2025, shuttle buses will be running at full capacity throughout the season.
They are the easiest, most convenient and eco-friendly way to travel between the different areas.

Lines in service:
Line A – Line D – Line C – Line E – Line N – Line U – Line M – Line M bis

👉 Shuttle buses provide easy access to ski lifts and all sectors, while helping to avoid congestion at car parks, especially Pléney, Prodains and Ardent.

To avoid waiting at ticket counters, we recommend buying your lift passes online.

Self-service pick-up machines are available at the base of each ski lift.
