Valentin Delluc is one of the biggest names in speedriding, a discipline that is a cross between skiing and paragliding, where the high mountains become a vertical playground. He grew up among the peaks, and developed a taste for sliding and adrenalin at a very young age. A talented freestyle skier, he discovered paragliding at the age of 11: two passions that would later merge into a unique, breathtaking sport.

Every time he flies, Valentin pushes the boundaries of what is possible. We’ve seen him fly over the snow-covered roofs of Morzine to within a few centimetres, slaloming at full speed between pine trees, or crossing a moving chairlift with disconcerting precision. Far from stopping at the winter season, he swaps his skis for his trainers when the snow melts to switch to speedflying, a summer version where close flying remains at the heart of the action. Reliefs, cliffs, villages: each scenery becomes a line to draw, between pure freedom and high acrobatics.
