In Morzine, there’s a wide range of MTB trails and itineraries for mountain bikers looking for some excitement, and also for those who are new to this sport. And while you’re there, remember to admire the views! A MTB experience in Morzine and Portes du Soleil is an incredible experience, thanks, in part, to the surrounding peaks and stunning views.

Morzine, resort at the heart of the Portes du Soleil
Morzine is right at the centre of the Portes du Soleil MTB area. From the centre of the village, you can easily get to the Morzine-Les Gets sector via the Le Pleney gondola lift, or head straight to the Super Morzine gondola lift to reach the sector that bears the same name. From Super Morzine, you can ride towards Avoriaz and even all the way to Switzerland.

MTB trails that suit everyone
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already quite talented on a MTB, everyone will find the trail that suits them from the many cross-country tracks and MTB trails across the Portes du Soleil MTB area. There are around 600 km of trails (which are colour-coded just like the ski slopes, with green for the easy ones, then blue, red and black for the most technical trails)
The trails and paths have been secured and marked-out by a team of professionals so that mountain bikers can make the most of their ride and just enjoy the excitement of their experience through the mountains.

How do you fancy a day out that looks like this: Set off on your mountain bikes with friends or family, along the trails that are best suited to everyone’s level of ability. At lunchtime, stop off for a much-deserved break and enjoy some of the specialities of Savoie in one of the mountain restaurants, for a very pleasant experience in the great outdoors! At the end of the day, head to the bars in Morzine for a drink or two. There’s something for everyone! As you enjoy your drink, chat about your day on the trails.
