A Little Extra for Train Travelers and the Planet!
Montagne Verte, an environmental association based in the region, is actively involved in promoting mobility. They are the driving force behind the Alpin Express Pass.
The Initiative: The aim is to encourage local businesses in the valley to offer discounts to vacationers who reach the village by train.
While taking the train may not always be the most economical or fastest option, it contributes positively to the environment.
Rewarding Vacationers for Their Efforts to Reduce Their Carbon Footprint
To encourage the effort made by vacationers to lower their carbon footprint, local hosts, restaurateurs, merchants, ski rental shops, service providers, and ski lift operators have committed to offering preferential rates.
