Electric mountain biking (E-MTB – Electric Assist Bike or e-bike) is a rapidly growing activity that requires suitable terrain to ensure that the ascent is just as exhilarating as the descent.
As a pioneer in electric mountain biking, the Portes du Soleil domain offers an electric mountain biking route featuring 43 designated trails, totaling 350 km of marked paths specifically designed for this activity, spanning both France and Switzerland.
Among these trails are the Uphill Flow paths, specially designed to ensure a continuous riding pleasure, both uphill and downhill. These routes will allow you to make the most of your electric mountain bike’s capabilities, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider.

Since 2012, the 12 resorts of Abondance, Avoriaz 1800, Champéry, Châtel, La Chapelle d’Abondance, Les Gets, Montriond, Morgins, Morzine-Avoriaz, St Jean d’Aulps, Torgon, and Val-d’Illiez Les Crosets Champoussin have been working to offer trails suited for all, without the worry of elevation gain thanks to electric assistance.
