Morzine’s exceptional geographical location offers skiers of all levels a vast selection to satisfy their desire for skiing and experience new thrills. Situated at the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area with its 600 km of slopes (varied and diverse runs, forest trails, wide and easy tracks, fun, alpine and steep slopes, moguls, snowparks…), Morzine remains an immense playground with many facets.

From the majestic view of Mont Blanc to the larch forests, through snow-covered alpine pastures, the Morzine ski area offers a ski-in/ski-out start from the Pléney sector, with covered conveyor belts and beginner-friendly slopes, as well as quick access to the legendary giant slalom course for competitors.

Ski Lifts: Opening Dates

  • Pre-opening of the Morzine Pléney ski area from Saturday 14 December to 20 December. More information here.
    The Morzine – Les Gets ski area will then open in full from Saturday 21 December 2024 to Sunday 6 April 2025.
  • The ski lifts in Avoriaz will be open from Friday, December 13, 2024, until April 21, 2025.
  • The lifts in the Portes du Soleil ski area will be open non-stop from 21 December 2024 until Sunday 6 April 2025.
